Terms of Service

1. Definitions

Member, you

A person who signs in to the App and makes songs.

Listener

A person who opens a Page through its link. Listeners need no account and are bound by these Terms only to the extent of Section 11.

Request

Everything you give for one song: your description, the style, mood, language, voice and length, your own lyrics if any, the recipient’s details for a gift song, and photos you attach.

Song

What the Service makes from a Request: the audio, the lyrics, the title and the cover picture.

Credit

One Song (a new one, or another take of one). Credits never expire.

Gift Song

A one-time purchase: two Credits and one gift kit.

Gift kit

For one Song: the personal gift Page and the lyric videos. Included for every Song while you have Geetly Pro.

Geetly Pro, Pro

The subscription in Section 9.

Page

The public web page of a Song, reachable through its link: a song page, or a gift page with the recipient’s name, your message and a photo.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By signing in to the App or using any part of the Service you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. The App records the date and version you accepted. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Eligibility (18+)

You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, to use the Service. The AI services the Service is built on do not allow applications directed at anyone under 18, so the App asks for your date of birth once and closes accounts that are under 18. By using the Service you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the date of birth you gave is true. You may not use the Service if you are barred from it under the laws of your country.

4. Account & Security

You sign in with a Google account or an email address and password. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in details to yourself. Tell us at once if your account is used without your consent. One person, one account; accounts may not be sold or transferred. We may close accounts that are inactive for more than two years after telling you by email.

5. The Service

Geetly makes original songs with AI from the words you give: a full song with vocals and lyrics in the language you choose, in a musical style you choose, with a cover picture; a gift song for one person, with their name and your memories sung into it; a library and a player; Pages to share a song or give it as a gift; lyric videos to post. The Service is provided as it stands and may change (Section 18).

A Song takes a few minutes to make. You may leave the App; it tells you when the Song is ready. If a Song cannot be made, the Credit (and the gift kit) are given back automatically.

6. Content Rules & Acceptable Use

You may use the Service only for Songs and Pages of your own. You must not ask for, make, publish or share:

• a Song that imitates a real singer, band or composer (their voice, their name, their style by name), or lyrics, melodies or titles of existing songs, poems or other works that you do not own;
• anything sexually explicit, anything sexual or romantic about a person under 18, anything that sexualises or endangers children;
• hate, harassment or threats against a person or a group, or content that bullies, humiliates or deceives a real person (a “roast” must stay affectionate and be for someone who will laugh);
• anything that incites violence, terrorism or self-harm, or promotes illegal acts;
• a Page that asks listeners for money, payments, OTPs, passwords or downloads, carries links to other sites, or impersonates a person, a company or an institution;
• personal data of another person that they have not agreed to (a gift song for a friend with their first name and your shared memories is fine; a stranger’s private details are not);
• content that infringes anyone’s rights or breaks any law.

You must not try to get around the Service’s limits (credits, daily caps, filters), reverse-engineer the App, scrape Pages, resell access to the models through the Service, or use the Service to train a machine-learning model.

7. Checks, Reports & Enforcement

Every Request is screened before a Song is made (our own word filters and the AI models’ safety filters); a Request that is refused is not charged. Every Song page in the App and every Page has a Report button, and anyone can write to support@geetly.com. A person looks at every report within 24 hours. A Song or Page that breaks these rules is taken down; an account that breaks them repeatedly or badly is blocked (Section 20). We may also remove content at the request of a rights holder or an authority. We do not pre-listen to every Song and are not responsible for Songs or Pages before we are told of a problem.

8. Credits, the Gift Song and Free Songs

• One Credit is one Song: a new one, or another take of one. Credits never expire.
• Three free Songs come with every new account, once; we may change the number for new accounts.
• Credit packs are one-time purchases of 10, 30 or 100 Credits.
• The Gift Song is a one-time purchase of two Credits and one gift kit: on the Song you choose, it unlocks the personal gift Page and the lyric videos.
• Credits are for your own use, have no money value, cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for money, and are not refunded once a Song is made (Section 13). A Song that fails returns its Credit by itself.
• To keep the models fair to everyone, an account may start a limited number of Songs a day (30), whatever it holds.

9. Geetly Pro (Subscription)

• Geetly Pro is a Google Play subscription, monthly or yearly, that gives 60 Songs a month, the gift kit (gift Pages and lyric videos) on every Song, and priority when the models are busy.
• The month’s Songs refill at the start of each monthly period (every month of a yearly plan); unused Songs do not carry over. When the month’s Songs are used up, your Credits are used, else you may buy a pack.
• The price is shown in Google Play in your currency before you subscribe and renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel in Google Play (Subscriptions) at any time; Pro runs to the end of the period you paid for. Deleting your account does not cancel the subscription: cancel it in Google Play as well.
• Changing from monthly to yearly starts the yearly plan at once with a prorated charge; changing from yearly to monthly starts at the end of the paid year.
• We may give Pro days without payment (a promo code, our own gift); such days end on their date and never shorten a paid plan.

10. Your Songs: Ownership and Licence

Your Requests are yours. You keep every right you have in the words, lyrics and photos you give. You give us only the licence we need to make the Song, keep it in your library, show it on your Pages and render your lyric videos, until you delete it.

Your Songs are yours to use. As between you and us, you may use the Songs you make for any purpose, including commercially (as a gift, on social media, in a video, in a product), as long as your Request followed Section 6 and you say the song was made with AI where the law or a platform asks for it. AppskKuber claims no ownership of your Songs, and our AI provider claims none under its terms.

What we cannot promise. Copyright law in many countries (including the United States) protects only works with human authorship; a Song generated by AI may not be protected by copyright, and others may make similar songs. We make no promise that a Song is original, unique, copyrightable, registrable as a trademark, or clear of every third-party claim; any such risk is yours. Every Song carries an inaudible AI watermark (SynthID) applied by the model, which you may not remove.

What we may do. We may use a Song without identifying you only to run and improve the Service (for example to test playback, to review a report, or to fix a bug), and we may show Pages to the listeners you send them to. We do not use your Songs in our marketing without asking you first.

11. Pages and Lyric Videos

• A Page is public to anyone with its link; it is not listed and is marked not to be indexed, but links can be forwarded. Publish a Page only with content you are happy for strangers to hear. You can take a Page down at any time from the App; the link then says the song is no longer available.
• A gift Page shows the recipient’s name, your name, your message and the photo you chose; the person in the photo must agree to it being shown.
• Lyric videos are made on our servers and are yours like the Song. A video may take a few minutes; a video that fails is not counted.
• Listeners may play a Page and report it. They may not download, copy or redistribute a Song without the member’s permission.
• Every Page says the song was made with AI and with Geetly.

12. Purchases Through Google Play

Every purchase in the App (credit packs, the Gift Song, Geetly Pro) is made through Google Play, under Google Play’s terms, in the currency and at the price Google Play shows you, taxes included where the law requires. We verify every purchase with Google before delivering it; a purchase that cannot be verified is not delivered and is refunded by Google Play by itself. We never see your card, UPI or bank details.

13. Refunds

• Google Play’s refund rules apply to every purchase. Ask Google Play first; you can also write to us at support@geetly.com with the subject Purchase.
• A purchase that was paid for but not delivered (no credits arrived, Pro did not unlock) is delivered or refunded once we have checked it.
• Credits already turned into Songs are not refunded: the Song was made and the model was paid. Unused Credits of a refunded pack are removed from the account.
• A Song you do not like is not a defect: results vary between takes, and “another take” costs one Credit. A Song that fails to generate costs nothing.
• Geetly Pro is refunded under Google Play’s subscription rules; cancelling stops the next renewal and does not refund the running period, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
• Nothing here limits the rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.

14. AI Features and Their Limits

The Service uses generative AI models from a third-party provider (named in the Privacy Policy) for the lyrics, the music and the cover. AI output can be wrong, odd or unlike what you asked for: a name may be sung strangely, a verse may not rhyme, a cover may not match. We do not promise any particular quality, language accuracy or resemblance to your Request. We may change the models and the way Songs are made. The provider’s own safety rules apply to every Request; a Request they refuse is not charged.

15. Intellectual Property of the Service

The App, the websites, the name Geetly, the logo, the design and the software are ours or our licensors’ and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You get a personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the App on your Android devices under these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease any part of the Service, or reverse-engineer it. Fonts in the App are under the SIL Open Font License.

16. Third-Party Services

The Service depends on Google Play, Google Firebase, Google Cloud and the AI provider. Their terms apply to their services; we are not responsible for their outages, changes or decisions (for example a model refusing a Request, or Google Play’s refund decisions).

17. Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. It is part of these Terms.

18. Changes to the Service

We may add, change or remove features, styles, languages, prices for new purchases and the number of free Songs, and may stop the Service altogether. We will give reasonable notice of a change that materially reduces what you paid for, and unused Credits are refunded if the Service closes.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with its date and tell you in the App at least 14 days before a material change takes effect. Using the Service after that date means you accept the new Terms; if you do not, stop using the Service and delete your account.

20. Suspension & Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the App (how). We may suspend or close your account, take down Songs and Pages, or refuse Requests if you break these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect the Service and other people; we will tell you why unless the law forbids it. Serious breaches (content about minors, fraud, repeated impersonation of artists) lead to immediate closure. On closure for breach, unused Credits are forfeited; on closure for any other reason, unused Credits are refunded.

21. Disclaimers of Warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim every warranty, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted or error-free operation, and the quality, originality or legal status of any Song. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be excluded.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, AppskKuber is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from the Service or a Song, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or INR 5,000, whichever is greater. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury, fraud or gross negligence.

23. Indemnification

You will defend and indemnify AppskKuber against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Requests, Songs and Pages, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of anyone’s rights.

24. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to Section 25, the courts of Madhya Pradesh, India have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EEA, the UK or another place whose law gives you the protection of your local courts and laws, nothing here takes that away.

25. Dispute Resolution

Write to us first at support@geetly.com; most problems are solved within a few days. If we cannot agree within 30 days, either side may take the dispute to the courts in Section 24, or, for Indian users, to a consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. EU consumers may use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform.

26. General Provisions

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If a part is held invalid, the rest stands. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor of the Service after telling you. Notices to you go to the email you sign in with; notices to us go to support@geetly.com. These Terms are written in English; a translation is for convenience and the English text prevails.
